WUSD celebrated our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Rear Admiral Michael Schwerin during homecoming. Rear Admiral Schwerin was a 1984 graduate of Watertown High School. He was treated to a special luncheon on September 29th where he was presented with a Distinguished Alumni plaque. Rear Admiral Schwerin was also introduced during the Homecoming Pep Rally; was a special guest in the homecoming parade; and was introduced after first quarter of the homecoming football game.

Congratulations to the Watertown FFA Gosling Trap Teams for their 2nd and 3rd place finishes October 1st at Milford Hills! 4th High Female was Ava Gutzdorf and High Male was Jeremy Lacey.

October 1st-7th is Wisconsin School Board Week. WUSD students benefit every day from the leadership and vision of our school Board. Our dedicated Board members devote hours of their time each week to provide leadership for our school district. Let's give a #WatertownWay shout out to our School Board for all they do for our students, staff and families!

Congratulations to Lauren Kwapil, Tristan Maxwell, Naomi Domer, and the entire Gosling Marching Band for their performance at Waukesha South on Saturday. The band performed a classic retelling of Romeo and Juliet in their show, “Till Death,” and took 2nd place in class triple A competition! Way to go Marching Goslings!

Watertown High School will host a College and Career Planning Night, on Monday, October 2nd, from 5:45pm-8:00pm. Junior and senior year is a critical time for developing your plan after High School.
