A #WatertownWay congratulations Olivia Ruetten, Cole Peterson and Gage Adkins for being our WHS Rotary students for the month of May.
Watertown families recently hosted 14 students from WHS's partner school in Germany, the Werratalschule in Heringen. German and American students shared their cultures while at school as well as at local businesses Berres Brothers and Mullen's Dairy Bar (which was declared to have "the best burgers in America"). They also visited the Watertown fire department and the state capitol, where Senator Jagler and Representative Penterman made time for them. The students also enjoyed a Brewers' game and many other social events.
In June, 14 WHS students are travelling to Germany and will be hosted by the same students who were here.
Last week was National Library Week! Our WUSD library media specialists and paraprofessionals work hard to offer students a wide range of literacy, STEM and technology programming at all grade levels.
