Check out these cool kids in their hats that they made for science! Mrs. Godfroy's 2nd graders at Schurz Elementary were stuck on an island with only a paper bag, string, a paper plate, tin foil, and 2 clips. They had to make a hat to shade their face from the sun. Look at the creativity they came up with!!

These Schurz second graders finished writing different kinds of nonfiction books (how-to, narrative nonfiction, all about, and question and answer) teaching their readers all about a topic they were an expert on. They had a celebration with the other second graders and enjoyed some cookies and juice while they read their books to each other.
