Schurz Elementary students in Mrs. Wyse's 5th grade class presented posters they created showing off a math strategy on how to do double digit multiplication. They learned 5 different strategies!


Watertown High School is very excited to announce that the 2024 A.E. “Mike” Bentzin Memorial Watertown High School Assemblies Program is Donald Driver. Donald is a Green Bay Packers’ All-Time Leading Receiver, Super Bowl Champion and Dancing with the Stars Champion. He is also an author of a chart-topping book called The 3D Body Revolution.
Come to the WHS Auditorium on Thursday, February 29th, as Donald shares his story and how he has continued to show his desire to give back. The program begins at 5:45 p.m. WHS doors open at 5:00 p.m. with limited seating available in the auditorium. Overflow seating will be held in the Commons with the program being livestreamed. If time permits, there will be a photo-op following the presentation.

Check out these cool kids in their hats that they made for science! Mrs. Godfroy's 2nd graders at Schurz Elementary were stuck on an island with only a paper bag, string, a paper plate, tin foil, and 2 clips. They had to make a hat to shade their face from the sun. Look at the creativity they came up with!!

These Schurz second graders finished writing different kinds of nonfiction books (how-to, narrative nonfiction, all about, and question and answer) teaching their readers all about a topic they were an expert on. They had a celebration with the other second graders and enjoyed some cookies and juice while they read their books to each other.


The RISE K-2 classroom at Schurz Elementary had a wonderful visit from Rusty the therapy dog and his owner, Kris, today!
