The Watertown Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring its 11th Annual Winter Open Indoor Track and Field Meet on Saturday, March 5th. It is open to children in grades 3-5, middle school, high school, and adult athletes.

We are excited to announce that SkillsUSA Watertown has partnered with YES! Watertown to host this year's community ICE OUT event!
The #WatertownWay SkillsUSA team welded up a structure this year to be placed on the ice. Get the winning timeslot for when it sinks through, win $500.00! Proceeds will be shared with the SkillsUSA program.

UW Madison’s Wisconsin Singers will be performing at Watertown High School on Friday, February 11th, at 7:00 p.m. - featuring opening performances by the #WatertownWay Pizazz, RMS Show Choir, River City Rhapsody, and Femme Fusion! This is a must-see show that will entertain the entire family!
The Wisconsin Singers is comprised of University of Wisconsin students of all majors, pursuing their passion for music. The first graders in Mrs. Godfroy's class had a great time discovering the answer to our science question this week, "Why don't trees blow down in the wind?"
The students started off with umbrellas and wanted to discover if they would blow over from the wind created by Mrs. Godfroy. Then they turned their umbrella into a tree to compare it and see how easily it would be knocked over.

Last Friday, Schurz Elementary students celebrated the hard work everyone put in for their successful STAR reading assessments during the month of January. All classes enjoyed a popcorn treat, earned an extra recess, and had the pleasure of wearing a hat during the school day!

Last week, our Schurz 2nd graders celebrated their poetry writing with a Poetry Tea Time Celebration. Students drank tea, enjoyed a stroopwafel and read their poem.
