These Book Club Fanatics have been exploring nonfiction texts. Yesterday they learned all about chickens, and were able to take their learning outside to observe the chickens at WHS! The students worked hard on reporting facts and drawing diagrams. They also learned that there are eight times as many chickens as humans on Earth, and that chickens are the closest thing we have to dinosaurs!
The next Feeding America event will be held at WHS this Friday, July 1 beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Following the forums, the Board will interview each finalist again. The Board hopes to select a candidate in mid-June, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022.
