Endeavor Charter School held its annual Gallery Night on Thursday. During this special event, students select one project from the past school year to highlight and present to the public. They research and create a display to share with visitors, as well as hone their public speaking skills with a live group presentation. In addition, some students showcased their talent at Gallery Night by reading poetry, singing, and playing musical instruments.
Enrollment is now open for students entering grades 9-12 at endeavorcharterschool.org. Endeavor Charter School is located within Watertown High School.

🚒 RMS Students Tour New Watertown Fire Department Facility
Eighth-grade students at Riverside Middle School who are participating in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program attended a Career Exploration Day last Friday. They visited several locations throughout Watertown and had the special opportunity to tour the new Watertown Fire Department station. They were led through the new station by Fire Chief Tanya Reynen. Chief Reynen explained the process to become a firefighter/paramedic and the responsibilities within those roles.
The Fire Department is hosting a community Open House to tour the new facility on Saturday, June 8 from 1-4 p.m.
Students at Riverside Middle School are staying fit and learning how to save lives. Ms. Moulton recently shared photos of Panthers playing an exciting game of Omnikin Battle Ball in Physical Education, and 7th and 8th graders in the Healthy Living elective earning their CPR/AED certifications!

The annual Art Walk and Chalk the Walk took place along Main Street in downtown Watertown yesterday. The rain ended just in time for organizations to set up for this special event. The Bentzin Family Town Square, the Watertown Public Library, downtown businesses, and downtown sidewalks were packed with people viewing artwork, and enjoying games and activities. Thank you to the Watertown Arts Council and the WUSD Art Department for doing such a great job organizing this annual community event. 🎨🖌

On Wednesday morning, Riverside Middle School 8th graders toured Watertown High School to become more familiar with the layout of the building, and to learn about specific programs, courses and organizational opportunities offered there. The 8th graders were led in small groups by current WHS junior students who had been recommended for this role by staff. Juniors and seniors were stationed throughout the building to share program highlights and to answer questions.
