Watertown High School is very excited to announce that the 2024 A.E. “Mike” Bentzin Memorial Watertown High School Assemblies Program is Donald Driver. Donald is a Green Bay Packers’ All-Time Leading Receiver, Super Bowl Champion and Dancing with the Stars Champion. He is also an author of a chart-topping book called The 3D Body Revolution.
Come to the WHS Auditorium on Thursday, February 29th, as Donald shares his story and how he has continued to show his desire to give back. The program begins at 5:45 p.m. WHS doors open at 5:00 p.m. with limited seating available in the auditorium. Overflow seating will be held in the Commons with the program being livestreamed. If time permits, there will be a photo-op following the presentation.

LEAP Student Council donated $1000 to the Watertown Humane Society for their shelter expansion project. During the month of November, Student Council collected change through their “Pennies for Paws” service project. Students are learning when we do good, we feel good! ❤️🐾

Students at LEAP Elementary had an egg-cellent time collecting eggs from their hens and using them for a learning project. After learning about how long it takes an egg to go from a hen to the store, students observed and compared store bought eggs to the school’s hen’s eggs - that included how the eggs tasted! Students enjoyed an egg-stra delicious breakfast straight from their own coop!

WUSD celebrated our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Rear Admiral Michael Schwerin during homecoming. Rear Admiral Schwerin was a 1984 graduate of Watertown High School. He was treated to a special luncheon on September 29th where he was presented with a Distinguished Alumni plaque. Rear Admiral Schwerin was also introduced during the Homecoming Pep Rally; was a special guest in the homecoming parade; and was introduced after first quarter of the homecoming football game.

On Thursday September 14th, LEAP Elementary School went to Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan. The students dug for dinosaur bones, met the three bears and hopped aboard the magic school bus for a day of fun.
