Watertown Rotary Students

Watertown High School seniors Charles Hickey, Paige Walter, and Jack Zoellick have been selected as Watertown Rotary Club students for the month of April 2025. Hickey, Walter, and Zoellick are being recognized for their academic achievements, participation in athletics and school organizations, and their contributions to the Watertown community. The students are invited to join the Rotary Club each Monday at its weekly luncheon meetings.

About the students:
Charles Hickey is the son of Maria Murray and Jonathon Hickey. Charles has been a four-year member of the Boys Swim Team as well as being involved in Cross County and Boys Golf during his high school career. He has also been involved in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Model UN. Outside of school, Charles has been active with Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout rank, and the Watertown Aquatic Team. He currently works at Mercer T’s Bar & Grill and is planning to attend UW-Madison to study Mechanical Engineering.

Paige Walter is the daughter of Nicolas and Mandy Walter. Paige is a four-year member of the Girls Soccer Team and FCCLA (Family, Careers, Community Leaders of America) where she will be competing at State for a third time in Baking and Pastry. She is also involved in National Honor Society (currently serving as President), Spanish Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and Student Council. Paige plans on attending college to earn a degree in business.

Jack Zoellick is the son of Julie and Terry Zoellick. Jack has been a four-year member of the Boys Golf Team as well as the WHS music program participating in band, jazz band, and pep band. He is also a three-year member of the National German Honor Society and is currently serving as the Chancellor of the organization. Jack has also been involved in National Honor Society and Boys Swimming during his high school career. He is currently working on the grounds crew at the Watertown Country Club and plans on working as an agronomist and running the family farm next year.
