Mr. Getz's career as an educator began at Edgewood College where he received his undergrad with a minor in mathematics. He obtained a Master's in Differentiated Instruction for At-Risk Learners from Marion University. He then went on to Viterbo University to acquire his principal licensure. Mr. Getz has been an educator for over fourteen years and has taught in grades three through seven - in three different school districts. His most recent position was as an elementary principal in Ashland, Wisconsin for two different schools - Lake Superior Elementary and Lake Superior Learning Community.

When not busy leading Lincoln STEM and LEAP Elementary Schools, Mr. Getz enjoys spending time swimming and doing outdoor activities with his family.
